The specifications that the Moto G20 will have emerged on the Internet offer exactly what one would expect from another mobile from the brand that uses the well-known ‘G’ series name. The leaked information includes a screen size that matches the Moto G30, a Unisoc processor and a quad camera setup on the back, and Android 11 to control all the hardware the user has at their disposal.
Motorola Moto has remained steadfast in its goal of launching a Moto G for almost every price segment in the market. We already have the Moto G10, G30, G40, G50 and G60, with the G100 being the top range. Within the entry segment, there is still room for the rumoured Moto G20, whose alleged characteristics have been leaked unofficially and beforehand.
The most recent rumours – in circulation since February of this year – include a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen with HD+ resolution, a drop-shaped notch, and a Unisoc T700 processor. This chip can be compared with the MediaTek Helio P22 and A22 and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 and 450.
On the other hand, the phone is expected to have 64 GB of internal memory, 4 GB of RAM, a 5,000 mAh battery and four rear cameras. It could have a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.7 aperture, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor for ultrawide photos with an f/2.2 aperture, and two 2-megapixel sensors with an f/2.4 aperture for measuring distance in photos with blurred backgrounds and record macro images.
Many of the Moto G20’s specs will likely be similar to those of the Moto G10.
The Moto G20’s specs appear to be almost identical to those of the Moto G10, the most basic model in the line. The device, which went on sale in March of this year, has the same screen, with an HD+ resolution of 1600×720 pixels, the same amount of RAM and internal storage, a processor with very similar performance (but different, since it is a Snapdragon 460), and even its battery offered the same autonomy.
On the back, we find that they also have the same number of cameras, all with the same resolutions, apertures and functions. The 3.5 mm headphone jack and the button dedicated to Google Assistant are two other features that both models share. The absence of an Android update for the Moto G10, which Motorola promised but has yet to release, is a detail that does not bode well for the Moto G10.
Even though multiple images and details of the Moto G20 have surfaced, the leak has yet to reveal the price or release date. We can expect it to occur in the coming months.
